The Manly Trust

Formerly known as the A.G Manly Charitable Trust, the Manly Trust was set up in 1991 with the principal aim to support with the education of engineering and to nurture and inspire the next generation of engineers. Our donations are generally focussed on charities and academic institutions based in London and the South East.

In January 2026, The Manly Trust made its biggest ever donation, becoming the lead partner of the newly developed Skills Hub at CIBSE’s head office in Farringdon.

STEM/Engineering Courses

The next generation of engineers are being inspired through programmes & courses run by the organisations such as SATRO, EDT and in2science. We are proud to have supported all of these, and more, for many years

Engineering Projects

We continue to support one-off projects and initiatives within the local community that provide opportunities to showcase and celebrate across the engineering spectrum.

Charities

The Manly Trust has a close association to a number of local & national charities, particularly those that support children with disabilities such as Whizz-Kidz and the Queen Elizabeth Foundation (MERU).
